all that said though kodak does have a weird case and i think kendrick could’ve illustrated the exact same point w someone like 21 or NBA Youngboy or something. rich interlude is an amazing song but that’s as deep as it goes when it comes to kodak actually contributing to the narrative and themes of the album. the project is so openly about abuse that black people suffer at the hands of racism, misogyny and warped ideas of masculinity and to have kodak be one of the narrators for ur album and only have him as a touchpoint for the “i made it out the hood” narrative instead of those issues that he’s allegedly been a perpetrator of or party to still feels weird to me. idk

ik op said no stan wars but the fact that drake didn’t address this at all was one of the biggest fumbles in the beef

  • Jul 18, 2024

KTT is gonna turn on Kendrick so hard, I'm calling it now.

Just a year ago there was all kinds of threads about how Kendrick fell off and stuff lmao

  • Jul 18, 2024

    Does he have to ?

Oh that's right you're American. Ofc it has to do with race, that's why Dr Dre or James Brown was named too right- oh wait

It's so crazy that they decided to take action against the the biggest artist of the year and not the drummer of some band from the 70s

Race is only an issue in America but if someone in your profile dated outside their race theyd get banished from the music industry 🥱

Having an abuser as a feature on your album isn’t the same as keeping one in ya circle to me But yeah rappers are flawed.

idk how you can listen to that song where kendrick is playing a part alongside an actual actress and think “ah yes this is his genuine take on this issue” it’s illustrating the standpoint of the character who has obvious issues w women and other s***

It’s like when they used those bars from Sing about me when he’s rapping from his homegirl’s perspective as him saying he beats women

He was trying to rehabilitate Kodak...

Who today posted 3 white women on IG and was simping for absolutely no reason at all

    Good job Kendrick!

    Stanza

As a Kendrick fan I think there is no excuse, it's open hypocrisy plain and simple.

He's ultimately just a nigga with a good pen and like any other nigga(me included), he has his moral blindspots and hypocritical views and his celebrity, platform, and triple entendres doesn't change that. I hate when people contort themselves to try and maintain some sanitized view of their favorite artists.

But it goes both ways. Kendrick has also said on music how hypocritical he is and how he shouldn’t be looked as anyone’s savior.

Yet people who might dislike him for whatever reasons (including the most petty reason now being about this beef) contort themselves to take that very same “sanitized view” and look to hold him to that ass well but just on the opposing side.

  • Jul 18, 2024

Drake stan’s trying to act all high and mighty about domestic abuse when Drake posts Free Tory every now and then.

  • Jul 18, 2024

That no stan wars tag really made a difference

I love how the cope was that Kodak being on Mr Morale was about redemption and growth and in the 2 years since he's done absolutely nothing and even said he still doesn't think he did anything wrong in the first place. He won't even accept the idea that he is guilty so how can he ever redeem himself? Lmao those features have aged terribly

That sounds like he supports the typical Kendrick fan when he invites them on stage. Well let's be real, they all do that at home anyway

  • Jul 18, 2024

most black hoteps are misogynistic and dont see black women as equal thats why he brought out dre

and had a literal mexican saying the nigga on stage at his Juneteenth concert

kendrick a fraud i just think people dont like drake more including me however i did call this out multiple times before regarding kendrick

I know you're being disingenuous but just in case you're serious he didn't actually do that. TMZ racist ass photographers seen Drake out with a black woman and got her confused for Bella Harris but she was on the other side of the country in NY and every outlet walked back on their articles

And besides. He's way too famous for that s***. If he actually did that I promise he'd have been arrested

What about the video wit the teenager sitting on his lap at a party?

  • Jul 18, 2024
    BBBlockBBBuster

    He did, multiple times infact.

He even invites them to his house parties and gives them alcohol.

He absolutely let 17 year olds drink at his house and kick it in the hot tub with him

Madison Beer was 17 at this party:

How would that be Kendrick’s fault that Kodak is still on f*** s***? Didn’t he also go back to jail since then? there are niggas that are just beyond reachin.. doesn’t mean there aren’t people who tried

Ngl....rap fans across the board tend to pick and choose when to enforce morality and I say that as a Kendrick fan.

    Check this out for example:

    https://www.thedailybeast.com/ice-cubes-long-disturbing-history-of-anti-semitism

The rap community don’t care about no anti semitism lol

  • WRU

yo why is jadakiss as hard as it gets? why is the industry designed to keep the artist in debt? and why them dudes aint ridin if they part of your set? and why they never get it poppin but they party to death?

  • Jul 19, 2024

Sounds like something Drake should've brought up in his rebuttal but he didn't wanna jeopardize his relationship with Kodak.
