it’s no different with Uzi to an extent imo, Uzi doesn’t write about anything special, but he has a great flow and he can lay down a cool punchline here and there + he has a pretty decent ear for melodies
I don't know, maybe, I thought on this album his vocal takes were fine but yes it doesn't stretch like carti on WLR, I've still seen him do a lot of different things vocally, it just doesn't register like carti on wlr

Travis Scott lyrics on utopia can often be literal gibberish. Listen to wlr and pretty much the whole
thing isn’t lyrical but at least it’s coherent

To be fair Kanye has a moodswing about every single album & changes the story up all the time.
He even has said MBDTF he hates not only due to the stabdard it pegged him on but also because it was a ciward apology album - but then he goes on moments where he thinks it peak rap & him at his peak.
Yeezus is the hreatest thing ever - then during his KSG to JIK era he s***ted on it and called it a dark place n basically devil music.
Grad is the ultimate performance sound - other times hes called it a sold out album for the radio & fame.
TLOP is the ultimate artistic freedom- other times he days he couldnt go as far with TLOP and "evolving" as much as he would have liked & its kinda meh since its nit its "true" form.
Etc.
These arent one time things either he flips from them being great to bad to meh etc. his whole career since the start of WTT - which he also flip flopped on.
I think the only projects he hasnt s***ted n flip flopped on are 808s & Donda 1.
He truly is a bi-polar adhd cant make up his mind pretends nothing ever happened yesterday like a kid ass nigga.
It got especially egregious during Yeezus, Ye & JIK eras of the flip flopping on his pass works.
Doesnt make it right & I agree it is frusturating especially since he cant firmly place a side or finished thought on them, but its how hes been since the 2010s.
LR, Yeezus & MBDTF are my top 3 personal albums regardless.
