Filming digital with cine lenses ie grabbing cine lens attachments for your iphone or cameras brings that authentic look to your images.
The glass is where the bread is butter. The stock (film, digital, iphone etc.) is like the lineage but only you the story teller makes a great story.
Yeah this is true but most films nowadays are filmed digitally, but with incredible cameras.

Because phones have crappy CMOS sensors that are cheaply made, that's why you get wobbly video, crappy digital zoom, and not a real optical look at all. They aren't made to be produce super HQ films.
Professional cameras are $1000s+ for a reason
