mans said workers run the company crine
So f*** the ceo and board of directors huh
I think people seriously underestimate how much difficulty and risk goes into starting a successful business and how much the possibility of it paying off big incentivizes people to go for it. Just getting your money back would seriously decrease the incentive. Why would I spend 10 years of my life making very little to build a company just to get my money back? I would instead move to a country that doesn't f*** up the incentives, I mean it's a decent idea among many awful ideas when it comes to solving the problem though
You’ll be seeing a return on your investment with interest. Keep in mind, under this model, your company will still run like a traditional american business, up until the point where your initial investment is returned with the agreed upon interest. So id disagree, I think there’s plenty of incentive for capitalist to start co-ops.
Pink sunsets are so pretty
post sunset pictures let's turn this thread into some positive sh*t I'll start
Amazon does f*** their workers, I agree. Your logic isn’t sound though. The value of the labor of a single programmer or warehouse manager at Amazon will never be equal to the value of Amazon as a whole
Cmon bro
Your logic in the post I replied to isn't sound. You said it's about the value of your labor - presumably meaning workers who make very little only do so because their labor contributes very little. Yet you did not prove that claim whatsoever, and you even agreed that Amazon f***s their workers. Cmon brodie
Workers are not paid the actual value of their labor. This should be obvious. Board members/CEOs/Executives are paid many times that of ground-level laborers, while contributing much less.
You need someone willing to throw packages down the sort slide much more than you need someone sitting in an office checking a balance sheet.
If the workers in any company all go on strike, those executives have nothing meaningful to contribute, unless they leave their posts to start tossing the backlog of packages down sort slide. And then going to the main floor to scan the packages as they come down. And then loading them into the trucks. And then driving the trucks, etc.
