yeah sure you can say all that, but nothing about what you said has to do with the film being great and it just makes you look like someone who knows nothing about film, because you don’t! and that’s okay, it just means that your opinions aren’t as knowledgeable

well the idea that those are the only concrete things in music is kinda false. It’s like saying wins/losses/rings are the only concrete thing in sports when play tactics, positioning, conditioning, and a ton of other factors exist that can switch up the game at any time and the layman doesn’t know

with music there’s production styles, there’s tempos, instruments, writing styles and flow, everything.

With film there’s similar plot devices, set design, writing styles, voice acting, animation, etc

People are quick to jump on the most quick and easy statistics they can find to validate their lack of interest in a topic, and it always ends up being sales because money is the defining factor in the world we live in

Well if I say LeBron James stinks that factually isn't true. I can prove that he in fact does not suck.

If I say prince is awful, how can you say my opinion on that is wrong?

Furthermore, this has more to do with one's opinion on the art being superior. I can say Lebron James is better than Michael Jordan, and there are numbers to support that and vice versa.

I can say Prince is better than Michael Jackson, but what can I say to support that? And prince being better than Michael Jackson In My Opinion does not mean my music taste is better lol

No one who has ever said that it's the greatest movie has justified it with "sold lots with Iron man and captain america and cool fights"

You most likely watered down a real argument they had for the fight choreography, character motivations and RDJ and Chris Evans acting ability
