Tbh I like cousins because it’s his most “outsider music” work yet. The subject matter is traumatic but handled with a weirdly shocking and unserious manner, the Double Virgo sample is so real on so many levels, the Dave Blunts verse actually sounds impactful in the context of the song & Kanye’s life rn.

I said it b4 but it’s like Harmony Korine / Daniel Johnston levels of weird; it’s different for Ye. That said idk if he can recreate what I liked about that song on the others, kinda seemed like a one off moment

The other s*** so far sounds very generic run of the mill 2020s kanye lol, although that teased version of the Jared beat is literally some Yeezus / TLOP / Selah levels of production, so good

If you’ve seen nothing of his yet, I’d recommend Kids (written by Harmony, directed by Larry Clark). Gummo & Julien Donkey-Boy are both great movies of his that have really weird vibes. He’s got some weirder short films on YouTube too that are worth watching
