Why are the same people that denounce Facebook for its data privacy policies contempt with letting china collect their data through tiktok?

I'll give you a reason. People don't give a f*** about data collection or whatever. Facebook is lame and only used by old people. Tik Tok has good content and is funny. That's the perception amongst the people that use tik tok

What I'm saying is with attacks by russia and china in recent years mainly in our elections it's concerning that china is actively collecting these data points
