The only way to find out is to just quit for a few days at least
The first time u take a take a break it will be tough but after a few breaks it's easy as f*** tbh. You'll probably find that weed is just something you use to pass time and slowly you'll replace it with other activities
because like you said it comforts you
I was in a similar spot
when I stopped smoking weed all the time, I had to face the fact that I was depressed
Don't get me wrong, when I was smoking I already knew
but sobriety forces you to FEEL it in a much different & more pervasive way that affects your entire life, even your dreams.
This is the hardest part. Ill take two days off then a crippling anxiety comes over me and i have to buy weed

You need to get to the heart of your anxiety. Figure out which thoughts induce stress and how to replace them with healthy thoughts. Weed will only make it worse long term

Do u get cold hands and feet?
Meditation and mindfulness can really help, because it helps you observe your feelings and not react. Keep reminding yourself desire is the root of all suffering and that acting on your desires will not make you happier, but the opposite.
Are you Canadian @op ?
Yeah s***s legal my roomie smokes every body smokes even my professors did

One day at a time
You got this
Eventually the amount of "sober" days gonna feel like a streak and if you try smoking again, you'll get hella anxious (ime)
But don't replace it with another d*** or anything obviously thats unhealthy to do.
What outlets do you have for relaxation/reflection/enjoyment rn??
Lean into those
Good luck
You n me are one n the same OP
Ive been getting high for nearly a decade now...
I been wanting to quit too, but i feel ya op
Yeah, can also relate to @op. I feel like years have passed me by because of my addiction, I'm not at the place I thought I'd be at this age. Weed releases dopamine so obviously it's addictive
But like others have said, it's not that hard to quit. Just don't buy more when you run out and spend your time doing productive things like work out, learn an instrument or something. If you own paraphernalia, get rid of those if you need to. Those first few days are going to be tough, especially falling asleep. Don't cave, you might think getting high will make you feel good. But you'll feel worse for giving in to your urges and ending your streak
Got about 2 grams left, but I really need to quit once I finish that. I'm taking stupid risks, smoking before work and smoking during my lunch breaks. Let's try to do it fr this time, let's be present with our loved ones this Christmas
cop some dog food you’ll stop thinking about weed quick
Nah he needs to start huffing glue and eating cat food
@op replace ur weed habit with cigs
