is there a point in arguing this when its such a broad statement

  • Jun 12, 2024

OP is right. He's not only talking bout the USA but also Europe

It has to do with multiple factors. Israel is an ally to many of these countries and many right wingers are usually nationalists, Palestinians are muslim so islamophobia plays a role, the Israeli government is also a right wing government etc.

  • Jun 12, 2024

    They hate Muslims/ Brown people

  • Jun 12, 2024

The media they follow and receive news from is heavily funded by Pro-Israeli lobbyists and businessmen.

  • israel is the modern day nazi germany its not too hard

    neon

    I wouldn't say it's all right wingers

There is definitely a new form of Right wing that is very anti-Israel. They are a minority tho.

Example: Thomas Massie won his election by being against AIPAC and other pro-Israeli lobby's. He recently did an interview with Tucker Carlson about how every republican in Congress got an "AIPAC baby sitter".

Also Candice Owens been vocal about her being anti-Israel and got fired from the Daily wire (another media heavily funded by the Israeli lobby) because of it.

you have it confused buddy. zionism is the biggest form of antisemitism that currently exists. the right-wing loves israel because it fulfills two goals: killing arabs and ridding europe of its "jewish problem".

I do not need followers I’m not an attention seeking b****

  • Jun 13, 2024

The entire justification of Israel is based on the validation of antisemitism as a global and pervasive phenomenon

In essence it’s the fascist idea that Jewish people cannot exist in outside societies and must be concentrated and isolated from the outside world

  • Jun 13, 2024

Christian Zionism is a thing unfortunately

  • Jun 13, 2024

There's a couple reasons the center right supports Israel.
    1. Religion: the powerful force of christian zionism
    2. Imperialism: Israel is an American/Western military outpost in the middle east
    3. Islamophobia: They hate Muslims/Arabs

If you look at the far right theres more disagreement. There are some who view this as a conflict between "Muslims and jews" and want nothing to do with it, there are others who view Israel as an inspiration and root for them against their "racial inferiors", and there are some who're anti Israel because they're antisemitic.

American Neo cons have not really been anti Semitic outside of some extreme or in the past

Because it's opposite to the far left, which is supporting Palestine.

Kinda sad how bad it's turned into identify politics for the right. Those dang fools

this s*** is why i hate politics. you don't have to like or hate something just because of what the "other side" is doing. literally think for yourself. it's the most freeing s*** ever.

  • Jun 19, 2024

somebody i know from HS became a hardcore evangelist (amongst other things) and supports them because he believes "jews are to be the ones to build the third temple in jerusalem and bring about the rapture"

no joke this is genuinely the reasoning behind most american right-wing zionist support

that's a very simplistic and wrong way to look at it

also identity politics is pervasive in both left and right liberals because it doesn't fundamentally challenge the status quo on a material basis

more "left" liberals were willing to support Ukraine compared to Palestine for numerous reasons but two main ones being Ukranians are fair skinned and "white" while Palestinians are brown and easier to disconnect from

Also looking at how liberals will say Russia is authoritarian off of vibes like "putin bad" and what the US State Dept said but most left liberals will say Israel is "complicated" or that its excessive use of violence is due to one or two individual actors and not essential to Zionist project or US imperialism in general

also its important to make the distinction between calling anyone who nominally supports Palestine (could be to varying degrees, from full liberation to 2 state solution) to "far left" (anarchists, communists, etc)

Most Americans in general are still supporting of Israel in despite some trends pointing the other way such as in younger demographics. Most Americans by that nature would be "right wing".

Among the american "left" you have many liberals/progressive you say they are in support of Palestine but are still disapproving of Hamas or don't think Israel is a apartheid state while more radical leftists want full Palestinian liberation and typically can connect Israel to broader extension of US empire

Just like on the american "right" you have the general conversative crowd that probably stands with Israel for religious, race or nationalistic reasons. Like Israel being the only "democracy" or believing the US should support this ally. But you also have small sects of the right like Candance Owens or Tucker Carlson who don't support Israel because they think its racist, are anti-semetic and see Israeli support from US politicians as "the Jews controlling everything" or the fact that America isn't spending its money at home to make the american bourgeois (or working class depending on if they are laundering it to proletariats) richer

  • Because isreal is a colonial state. Oppressors like to ally with other oppressors

    Simplistic but not wrong.

Underplaying Putin when he just met up with Kim Jong un and has been threatening nukes the last few months

Parts of the American right are starting to wake up by the looks of it. They got Ben Shapiro back against wall defending congressmen having AIPAC handlers
