If anything this is what Kiss Land was really supposed to be but he didn’t have the resources then to make it what After Hours is.
That's literally impossible because of the difference in sound, vibe and whole aesthetic. Kissland is still rnb but different and very good. After Hours doesn't know what it wants to be. It's a mix of watered down trilogy with some watered down pop and some full on pop with a sound that is way too annoying for me. There's too much going on at times and it's bland af at other times. Like drinking watered down gatorade with a line of coke when you're just staying home and want to chill smh.
That album has assaulted my ears once and I won't let it happen again.
