Niggas saying Frank, just because of his stans.
If we was being real, it probably between Lil Baby and Future.
Frank probs the most overrated modern musician
You have a Dra-
Yk what forget it
How? Literally half of ktt s***s on him
If Cudi is really making some of these niggas bothered by how much love and credit he's been getting in the past month, then he's doing something right.
Man's now fairly rated.
Even when Frank gets ‘viral’ tweets it never gets more than 3-4K likes on twitter. Whereas anything Baby does gets 60-70k likes on average.
The most overrated artists on this site are Kanye, Drake, Weeknd, Uzi, Carti and Travis .. by far. these 3 artists have their own niche audiences here and out of the 3 Frank’s fans are the most passionate, but none are truly overrated.
Cudi’s discography isnt even half as good as his hype
He suffers from too many bloated projects but he is a genius and influenced the game in a big way so we give him a pass plus he’s returned to form in a solid way since ppds and ksg
And the one or two highlights on satellite flight and indicud plus just the overall goodwill gen z and millenials have for him cus of growing up with his music and being emotionally connected to his path makes up for it

Does frank even use twitter?
Does frank even use twitter?
No. I’m talking about the engagement his music/brand receives on twitter from music listeners.
Has Frank gotten any genuine love here since 2017?
Man has a whole section full of people who consider him one of the goat artists. He just doesn't get talked about that much outside of it since he's super inactive.

Don’t really think that’s a good metric for measuring hype. I’m sure I can go to twitter and find a recent tweet about frank w 100k or so likes
Y’all try to make him into a niche artist but his last album sold almost 300k as an Apple exclusive
Out of all these I gotta go with Future.
Lil Baby isn’t even a question cus he’s so consistent.
Frank doesn’t even drop. But when he does he’s good (even tho I found blonde kinda boring compared to CO)
Future hasn’t innovated at all and has been repeating the same formula for years to me. But every time he drops we eat it up.

Exactly.. I’m trying to logically see how he can be seen as overrated, here.. unless all the artists with their own sections with their own fans hyping every little thing is considered overrated as well.

He is a niche artist.. his first week sales are simply due to his dedicated fanbase. Nobody in the GP listening to Frank outside of Thinking Bout You when it comes on shuffle between Adore You by Miguel or Climax by Usher..
Nobody really listens to him the way they do Baby and Future.

No one does 300k without having appeal outside of your fanbase
Does Frank even have more casual listeners than Daniel Caesar and Khalid?
If you have to ask if Frank has more casual listeners than Daniel Caesar you aren’t as in tune with what the people are listening to as you think you are lol

Yes they do..
276,000 in 2016 isn’t the same as 276,000 in 2021. I love Blonde, but it’s hype came from the reception of CO, which is why the album was frontloaded.
..hell it didn’t reach platinum until 2018. the strength of his first week sales were primarily from fans waiting for the follow up to CO released 4 years before that.
