I still got to try New Haven, but outside of that, any other style ain't on NY level at all. Notice how y'all got to say "if you go to the right spot". The average random NY spot is 10x times better than the average spot outside of NYC because you'd be out of business otherwise. People who say any other styles is better are probably comparing what that style's best has to offer to some random shop in NY that they tried after hopping off the train after landing in JFK

NY style pizza is the most cost effective and easiest pizza to make, that’s why it’s everywhere. That doesn’t make it the best, your taste palette just prefers convenience

My girlfriend’s stepmom is from Detroit and makes this all the time, she’s a great cook too so it’s always amazing

It’s fire but I wouldn’t consider it deep dish. It’s basically just a thicker crust but still same amount of cheese/topping as thin crust.
