Jim Legxacy. Usually I only get interested in the sound when it comes to newer artists but I can relate to his lyrics as well which hasn't happened in ages.
These two girls put out a rap album a year or two ago that was really good. I forget what their group is called. Lyrical stuff over some restrained electronic beats

I discovered Babyxsosa earlier this year (even though I'd known of her already), but she'd been active for a long time now.
it can be hard to sort through so many new artists tbh
babyxsosa i found out because i'm a big fan of Devstacks and his production
Youngboy debuted after Kodak but his career has had some real highs and lows.
some guys who piqued my interest this decade (ish):
Yeat
BLP Kosher
Ken Carson
Babytron
Babyface Ray
Rio
Babyfxce E
Babyface Ray
Baby Smoove
baby kia
drego + beno
veeze
shoreline mafia
sob x rbe
bossman dlo
none of them are quite there for one reason or another. some did much better at maintaining my interest than others. 3-4 might hit that level at some point or if i listen to more of their music.
Need to listen to Baby Smoove.

That's the one. Great project. Hope they grow their profile with whatever they put out next.

Same I still check to see if they drop
Same I still check to see if they drop
I checked in the summer. They should've got signed to Atlantic with a Tik-Tok
Pap and neph brought back a feeling that rap is missing and I’ll die on that bill

I’m disappointed their hype pretty much fizzled out. They both kinda went stale imo

I’m old now so the new rappers aren’t doing much to grab my attention
Im not apart of the audience they wanna reach lol
I just stay in the loop and see what I enjoy from the new wave. Don’t think rappers tryna get on and be global like 2000s era which is cool. The excitement level just isn’t the same though lol still like the niche/underground stuff too
Tony Shhnow been around but he really started getting motion this decade. He hasn’t made the project I want him to make but he has a lot of good music
Veeze is hard. Ganger was on repeat. His discog isn’t deep but I usually like whatever he drops. He been around too
Somebody posted this dude on here, his name is Nicholas Lamar. Bruh kinda got bars. Wanna see where he goes
That dude Lelo from Detroit is cool. Reminds me of Lucki. I like his beat selection
Been checking Swavay music recently. Billy2 had some tracks
Some other guys I been peeping that got a few songs like $amaad, YT, h1mward, King Hendrick$, Ghais Guevara, NoGum Hundo
Veeze, Mike; niontay

I remember someone on here called him the British xxxtentacion
He is the future and his sound is very versatile... but does jim play gatar
454 goes crazy too. I’m surprised Ktt isnt as keen on him
He's probably the most kttcore artist out rn (not in a bad way), in that he has a huge following on here but outside of ktt doesn't seem to have a ton of hype. He deserves more attention for sure
