Kendrick lamar. I dont know if the pressure was ever on more than in that battle in 2024. And dude slaughtered it.

He had so much hype and delivered in 2012 with one of the goat debut albums in gkmc.

Put out the control verse that put everyone on notice to where every rapper was jumping on a remix or finding a response.

Then delivered with an even better album in tpab, thats regarded nowadays as a top 15 album ever.

Then he somehow followed up with a pulitzer prize winning album with DAMN

Then got into a fued with the biggest rapper on earth who was aggressively calling him out and then dismantled him.

Followed it up immediately with a victory album that also won a Grammy.

    Like breh. EASILY kendrick.

5 classics (could argue 7 with "Yeezus" & "TLOP") + "WTT" & "KSG" will always trump the mid.

"Donda" & "Bully" are decent outings too.

    I agree with the 7

Nothing after TLOP connected with me

i would also say rick ross late 2000s to mid 2010s era is up there, very consistent, connect everywhere, classics mixtape and album, succesful label, classic feature verses and being the only one to survive 50 cent
