I was a seasoned rap head by the time 50 came out. GRODT was classic but I grew off G Unit pretty quickly
that's fair, that g unit hype was never really gonna be sustainable anyway with the game evolving like it did and the rise of kanye... but few two year runs in rap hit this hard, almost felt like one big farewell tour for gangster rap which is ironic since these careers were just getting started but explains why they burned out so fast
G-unit had a higher peak than TDE , but TDE clears G-unit when it comes to discography, longevity and consistency.

2003/04 was all about Speakerboxxx/Love Below and CD for me
I didn't like how 50 was beefing with everyone in his own circle either. Liked how much of a s*** dustruber he was out the gate on how to rob but why are you throwing shade at your own g unit members, Eminem and Dr Dre
none of the comradery I saw in Wu Tang, Beasties, Outkast etc.

His own son
I just know this dude is impossible to get along with
People who unironically think cilvia demo is a 9.5/10 are so funny man. That album is an 8 at best
Besides GRODT alone being bigger than all these TDE projects combined, the success of the rest of G-Unit especially The Documentary makes this lopsided run wise
G unit. Nothing close. 50 put all of his label mates on and they sold millions, tours, merchandise, great music.

culturally g unit could really only be rivaled by dipset and even then idk. that's tuff.
if you were really in rap culture at that time when 50 came up you never seen anything like that before or after. especially in NYC. can't even describe it. in da club came out right when ringtone songs started gaining popularity. everything aligned
then g unit came as an extension and built off that momentum. every member was unique and all of them had hits to their name

Are you like 50
Gunit by far
Even tho Kendrick >>>> everybody career wise
I’m taking gunit 02-05 over YM prime 3 years to
