Seems like both had decent not great years. Mr Morale did OK and the tour has been well received, but Kendrick appears to have lost more (casual) fans than he gained. The album isn’t his best but it didn’t ruin his legacy by any means either.

Drake got a lot of hate and some bad press but kept his name out there. He tried something new and it didn’t really resonate, then he followed it up with the tried and true and ended up embroiled in controversy because of one line. The album will stream well and he can fall back on that. A weird year for Drake but not bad.

Ya it’s annoying. All three albums are in my top ten of this year easily. Just glad our legacy acts are still putting out quality work
