You don't listen to Drake but you boldly wrote that he's made a song like Laugh Now Cry Later 10 times? You're an idiot.
You talking to the peanut gallery
There's nothing creative about Franchise. It's more generic Travis and even worse, it's not good. You can make an argument for Laugh Now Cry Later sounding like Trophies/God's Plan because of the triumphant horns on it but that's the only thing you can point to as a similarity between those songs. He uses a different flow and raps about different things and all 3 songs generally have a different vibe.
Franchise is just empty and hollow. There's nothing redeemable about it imo.
Lol cadence and delivery on LNCL is really close to God's Plan
Franchise has pretty hard beat (it's pretty simple tho, nothing really special but it hits) , interesting switch-ups between guest verses, and MIA f***ing killed that s***. Plus that last part with Trav rapping. Overall every part of song just adds to it and it feels like a nice ride.

I would say this valid criticism but you have to take account that all of Travis music is vapid and hollow, it’s part of his appeal and identity

I know, but those other singles had a flair and glamour to them. They were also just better songs. All Franchise has going for it is a hard, raw beat.
Drake is simply a better artist.

God's Plan/LNCL do not have similar flows at all, lol.

I don't know why I keep falling for the bait, lmao.
This post sums up Drake sxn
I like Drake but y'all delusional d*** riders
I like drake! Wow!
What boundaries did he push on Franchise?
These posters are all trolls man
They just throw the same buzzwords around “boundaries” and “generic”

Bruh idk how to explain but when i first heard LNLC i instantly thought about God's Plan
Even tho i agree they're not that similar when listening back to back but the overall sound still feels close for me
Anyway i'm not even a Drake hater (just a little bit maybe) but i really want him to move in a less generic "maximum accessible and safe for anyone to listen" direction like he did with some of the stuff on DLDT which is great project. I also fw his UK drill stuff he's been putting out.

I'll start agreeing with them. Travis is a bigger artist than Drake
Drake dropped the better single, critically and commercially
