Sure but the average age demographic for SB when Media Culture pulled it is 50 years old, so a 50 year old Mum would be the target demo (47% women to 53% men)

Spotify and YT aggregates show Tyler's representation in over 45s is not even 2%, Kendrick's is 10 to 15%. Kendrick is more present to the average demographic in this case than Tyler, who has almost no representation here

Kendrick then makes a whole lot more sense no?

Tyler was able to run a whole festival. Also your comment about a niche fan base is what makes it work. The overlap between Tyler’s fan base isn’t huge with the NFL, and the reason for the halftime show is to draw more eyes that normally wouldn’t be watching football.

Good performer, fan base outside of normal football fans, fan base is large enough to run a festival, one of the best performing commercial artists in our era, he can do it.

I can concede to you and @fader that even with the olds Kenny is a bigger name. But they still thrust Kenny in there with little to no name recognition and it turned out great.

I am gonna stick to my guns that the NFL is going to swing right immediately after Bad Bunny's performance and stay there until the 30s. These clubs are owned by good ol boy billionaire boomers. MAGAts will be crying and doing death threats again in February and Hov will be the fall guy. These rich old pussies don't want to be on Fatler's bad list

The Who headlined because of the NFL’s classic rock safety era not because of their popularity

Remember this was after Janet X Timberlake malfunction and they panicked about anything even risky, sexual / unpredictable.
So from 04 to 10, they only booked super safe, older, legacy male rock acts

You had Tom Petty, Bruce Springsteen, The Who, then it ended and went back to BEP, Madonna, Yonce

So if SB ever need to play it safe (we'll see what Bunny does) they will pull a white rock band next year

Yes, during a period after the Janet Jackson incident where the NFL was specifically choosing legacy acts & legacy rock bands who were safe and wouldn’t create any controversy. They abandoned that philosophy the following year with The Black Eyed Peas. Since 2011, every single Halftime performer has been a huge commercial act.
