    the thing is even if his sound heavily takes from the 80s/90s esque, it's the fact that nobody else is doing it that makes him stand out so much (and how he's doing it)

    It's not just 80s and 90s stuff it's also very gospel influenced. (which I guess we can have a talk about how R&B before the 90s was heavily influenced by gospel with the voicing in the chords)

    yh this nice asf but doubt bieber or breezy picking this up doesnt really suit their style n they too basic in their tastes i can hear brent or o'deal on something similiar. i feelv for mainstream he'd have to pivot his sound for the artists/labels to get it but would still be able to put the trinkets that us og listeners of his sound would apprectiate and enjoy for eg. someone that cb could dance to that makes sense for his ratchet fanbase and bieber something that would be jt equivalent that timbalasnd gave jt that perfect crossover sound while retaining that sauce and rnb tendancy realistically tbh they both past their prime so prob sety in their ways of what sound theyv like n its most prib not gonna be his sound so would be better to find someone unknown build them up thenbreak them to a label like how harmony did arianna grande for her first single (he channeled early mariah carey)

    @mdmadon I did really enjoy this track from him it was a nice lil change up.

    can hear bruno on this. realistically only prob bruno n miguel are able to tap in they musically minded take risks and are very musical playing instruments and have clear changes and reference points when switching eras thast are rnb influenced
