As some of you might recognize I'm the person who made Rapperle - the rapper guessing game (https://rapperle.com).

One of the frequent complaints I get about the game is that it is missing a lot of "key figures" from recent years.

People here seem extremely knowledgeable about Hip Hop as a whole, so I wanted to ask who in your opinion are these "key" rappers (from the past 5-10 years)?

To clarify, "key" figure does not necessarily mean a good rapper, but someone who had a large impact, even in a short amount of time (so answers like Lil Pump or even Ice Spice are also applicable).

Went through the Apple Music Hip-Hop Hits lists from 2013 onwards, here's what wouldn't autocomplete for me. I wouldn't necessarily include all of these. Some of them are one-hit wonders. I put a ⭐ next to rappers who I personally think are well-known enough to be included but choose at your own discretion

You have a mix of 80s to 20s rappers in your list and I think it might be a good idea to let people filter by decade. A lot of newer fans won't know the older artists and vice versa and it could be too challenging for them

maybe make an app for something you are actually interested in instead of using rap music when you can’t even name 30 rappers or whatever.

I don’t think that the problem, I think you don’t have at least the artist that dropped this year in the mix, I threw out all artist who realized with year with 4+ projects before hand and got nothing
