That Crush video is awesome sauce

Feels like a reminder of why Che and Osama and Nettspend are so aesthetically homogenous right now and are blending into just slight different variations of the same artist, with Nettspend getting the most push / help since he's signed to Interscope + is white.

Each promotional video they do they attempt to do something like this, with media of them partaking in d*** usage and attempting to do / perform in a manner that they think is cool, and then they pass it off to an editor / or the camera man makes some sort of elaborate trailer with the footage.

It all falls flat and is super inauthentic because it's always over-edited and plastered with too many effects. This Crush video and even FOMDJ work so well because it is very minimal, and a lot of the magic is done when the creatives and the musicians are actually shooting, not entirely in the edit.

the simple YVL flag room set up with Travis, Carti and Gio are cool; the strip club footage is quite cool; the I AM MUSIC continuous flash title card freeze frame; the concert footage; the gif-like motion sequences; the Oway MV editing inspiration as a call back to the early AWGE style that Carti brought highlight and attention to in 2017 -- the lower frame rate sequences that make the sequences blurry -- it all shows more love and appreciation for the art form than what turns out to be nothing more than goy slop content when the same end goal is attempted by people that are only making music and creating "worlds" around their music, not because they truly love it, but just so they can be famous and make money for a short amount of time in their life.

The hate this album gets among carti’s fanbase is really frustrating to me. A lot of stuff said against this album is just untrue. “The label forced some last-minute changes” we literally have snippets of the kendrick tracks from about a year before the drop. Mojo jojo and Backdoor were teased without Kendrick so the only difference is his involvement in them and not the whole album…

Sure it’s a little bloated but that’s a given with any tracklist this big but we still got some top carti tracks on it such as like weezy and HBA and different day

feel like the album did exactly what it’s supposed to, mainstream success without big compromising on the sound and uniqueness that always comes with carti albums. He’s disappointed that he didn’t win a grammy for it but this shouldn’t be the metric for its success. If Travis never won a grammy for Astroworld then Carti probably shouldn’t be aiming for it as well, if it wins it wins.

Hi, it looks like you might be having some keyboard problems!

While typing a message, press the 'settings' icon above the letters - it should be a button with a gear icon - and then scroll down. First, let's just attempt the basics - hit 'return to default settings,' then give it a shot.

Let me know how you go!
