Didnāt even come into this thread with the intention of hating bc as I said, Music got some amazing songs
But overall there is a complete absence of innovation comparatively to WLR
There are some flashes of if - Different Day (one of his best songs ever imo) , HBA, Pop Out, OPM Babi, Cocaine Nose - great songs
But f***ing hell, 30 song bloated mess that Iām surprised how little Iāve returned to, reminds me that deep down I knew WLR could never be topped. Whole Wayne cosplay so obvious too, 90% of the features are generic and bored, but worst of all album makes no statement on him as an artist in comparison to all his other albums (and I know you gonna press me on this point but like S/T had Had 2, Die Lit had Long Time, WLR had Punk Monk)
Cool to see him have this moment though, undoubtedly biggest of his career and he deserved it, just personally got no motivation to replay it and comfortably sits at bottom of his discog

I donāt mind this because it vindicates all the times Iāve said Wayne as being the most seminal rap artist of his generation lol
But yeah I said a number of times I wish he went the whole edgy industrial direction but Iām assuming he didnāt want to keep going super left field and wanted to be palatable to the mainstream
I honestly thought the album was gonna be filled with a lot of RATHER LIE sort of songs mixed in with his standard melodic bag but he just threw a lot of s*** on here that I just donāt really get

Barely go back to this, some slappers on here for sure but this def aint no timeless piece of work like his previous projects - his worst album by like a gazillion miles. Tried to spin it back earlier today and listening to rather lie almost made me wanna throw up. That voice filter is ridiculous, how did we just let him do the lawson like that.
crazy cause the build up to this is prolly my fav era of his, single run was impeccable and the snippets/leaks were absolutely insane too
couldve been an amazing project but instead he let the d**** push out this mid ass strip club anthem compilation or whatever this is supposed to be, honestly i cant even tell cause hes not even rapping his ass off on this - any verse from WLR wipes smh
