Uzi didnt follow a natural progression as an artist, which was happening until ea. Ea was an awesome album but his fanbase didnt like it so he backtracked which is sad.

WESLEYS THEORYWe know that Carti is very selective with his features at this point. He will either give it to those that pay his high feature fee (Camilla Cabello) or do it for those he really loved and respects (Future, Kanye, Travis etc.)
I think he stayed completely out of the beef because initially he still had love for the both of them and it wasnāt his fight to get involved with.
But Drake being notoriously 2 faced, went and took the No Face beat with the Carti vocals already on it and made a song out of it, that clearly had made it look like Carti had chosen a side when he hadnāt. Which potentially wouldāve alienated his relationships with his close friends in Cali who are connected to Kendrick.
It wouldāve really pissed him off because Drake didnt ask Carti first if he could use his vocals (Hence why they were removed off the streaming version) when Carti had been super selective with his features and it made him look like he had taken a side when he had deliberately chosen to stay as neutral as possible.
And thatās why he decided to say f*** it and be petty and link up with Kenny and put him on the album.
