But the sound itself isn’t that inventive or creative. Most rage beats are just Pierre type beats with cheap sounding digital synths and more distortion. Which isn’t even that different from what SoundCloud artists were doing a little before that

I also have a problem that anything with influence gets put on a pedestal. There is such a thing as “negative influence” and most of the time that’s what it is.
