There was a period of time in the 2010s where sometimes Kendrick would hop on a feature and it wouldn’t match the vibe of the song or something was off about it but I think his recent run of features with Like That, 30 for 30 and the Carti all have him understanding the assignment pretty well. His adlibs on Mojo Jojo supporting Carti were awesome.
