How dumb is it that H00DBYAIR isn't on streaming

I used to hate when people complained about songs not being on streaming instead of just downloading them, but I totally get it now.

A lot of my listening comes from connecting to Sonos speakers or on my TV or on my gaming console, and you can't play downloaded tracks off those, only s*** that's on the platform. All the loosies would probably have insane play counts for me if I could listen to them regularly

just add the downloaded file to apple music and connect to your tv with airplay or bluetooth with speakers

dont use spotify, but i'd assume you would be able to do the same thing

That's not the issue unfortunately, it's that when using a Sonos speaker/game console (the two main things I listen to music on at home aside from my vinyls) it doesn't let you play downloaded files, seems that it directly streams from Spotify itself on the device rather than playing from bluetooth

think they removed that feature, there's work arounds to it like hifi stream or a network share like here support.sonos.com/en-us/article/add-your-music-library-to-sonos

should work if you on iphone using airplay tho, long as the songs are added to cloud

My PS5 and Sonos systems let me play uploaded songs

Do you play of Spotify while playing games on PS5? I wonder if it changed or I've just been doing it wrong somehow
