Yeah that traction alopecia is going crazy he’s been getting the twists for what a decade now easy. I took braids out recently that I had only had in for a couple weeks and the amount of hair I combed out the next two wash days was insane. All my guys out there, stay vigilant protect your crown

Braids making more hair fall out is a myth. The reason u had more hair to comb out was because they kept all the hairs u naturally shed each day from falling out

That’s also true abt the hair being kept in place when it would naturally shed, but traction alopecia is definitely a real thing. Happens even with tight buns not just braids (which are 100x tighter)
