ST was a very raw vocal style, even the mixing wasn’t to crazy, just clean and mean. many of carti’s inflections were not developed and he was just swagging in his own voice, maybe have a little bit of an edge on stuff like kelly K or magnolia

Die Lit was where he stylized his voice a LOT. stuff from the era like lean 4 real, long time, right now, mileage all have this little edge to his voice. small lisps, enunciated hard constants, etc all play into making him seem even more cool while remaining blase

WLR -> music might be the same. carti was doing some new kinds of raw in his screams and edgier verses (Meh, Go2DaMoon, etc) but now he’s gonna edge deeper into it and form it up more as he released music
