Feel like the latter can be said about any artist though. Any subtle instrumental will focus on the artists shine as opposed to if say Carti had the Rock N Roll instrumental I feel like he wouldve made it a charting hit

You guys probably going to flame me for this
But as much as I do like Ken, Lonely, Faygo, Yeat etc etc.
To me, they are, and always will be, just Carti derivatives
I don’t dispute their individual capability to make great records, but even so, Carti’s music is just infinitely better. He is the blueprint and the rest of them will forever just be imitations to me
I like them all to a point, but their music comes nowhere close to quality of Carti’s music - he is leagues better

Remember that the reason many of us are hypedid because of the potential of their development
Most of these rappers are only in their first or second years and make GREAT music. How will they innovate down the line? We are very curious
