just hard to watch Interstellar, Memento and Inception and think yeah Drake the Nolan of rap.
also maybe it's cause his movies aren't huge blockbusters like Drake's albums are imo.

Nolan isn’t grossing $2bil with each release but he’s definitely a blockbuster filmmaker with a bit more depth or a “thoughtful” edge than the average blockbuster filmmaker, and lauded as the GOAT by his huge dedicated fanbase

The exact same could be said for Drake in music (pre-Views ofc)
