I can open the conversation to why is it certain southern rappers get put in the "oh he just do country s***" box heavy but yall not ready for that one.
@MURKY that song you posted he spoke on this.

Oh if he a UGK and Zay fan then he just don't like dude lmfao.
Exactly if anything krit is staying true to his roots just like those artists and even then he managed to carve out a sound unique to him and further refining it so he can execute it properly on a whole project rather than playing Chameleon for the sake of exploring Sonics at base level

Country bumpkin, watermelon
Chicken-eatin', collard greens

We’re the butt of all jokes grew up here

It’s really because he’s from Mississippi for some reason that gets looks down upon as an inferior part of the south within hip hop due to culture and difference in dialect I don’t get it because hail Atlanta but forget that at one point hip hop from there wasn’t taken seriously because it was so different from what folks were conditioned to during the 90s when it was just east and west. We had to fight for the south as a whole to be recognized as an essential part of hip hop so why exclude Mississippi when that’s also the south?
Tell me Cole wouldn’t have rapped on this @BlackSlug
idk
ask Cole that
the beats were fire. especially the 4ever s***. still don't think cole would mesh good with what i heard. with that being said I def slept on krit producing skills because he could def craft something up specifically for cole and it would be fire most likely. still want Krit on cole production tho
that's the hypothetical point behind this thread.
the point of the thread is asking which album would be better bud

I apologize for my earlier comments.
In my defense, " didn't even know krit Produced but it's probably some country ass beats" comes off mad dismissive.
