Take oregano oil that s*** will have you straight in a week I legit never get sick because of it as soon as I feel a slight discomfort in my throat I take about 4 to 5 drops and I’m good

you have 2 choices, succumb to your mucus-y stuffy, shivering hell & maybe have your partner nurse you back to health like a little baby bird or jack yourself full of every remedy at your disposal & vapor rub the s*** out of your chest & power through it, nah for whatever its worth being proactive feels mentally better idk if you can’t prevent some of the viruses going around out here though

Yes I also get super deflated and defeated. I stay in bed and don't even want to eat or get up to drink water even though you are supposed to in order to recover.

Last year I got sick like 5 times in the first 7 months. Then I started taking zinc and vitamin c and have not gotten sick since. I just got the flu shot today. My mission is to go a full year without getting sick

It’s not pleasant but it’s common. Dealing with various types of colds ain’t nothing new. Sometimes it’s a rough one that knocks you out and other times it’s just a little teaser. Happens to everyone a few times a year and it can be annoying when it happens but we always bounce back so I just stick it out. I got type 1 diabetes just like you OP so I can relate to that struggle as well @Rampage_Adam

damn what do you take do you use a cgm/pump? or syringes ? when you get sick we cant use tylenol cold flu that s*** makes a BS go up like crazy and damn its not just the cold or flu its that with diabetes as well so its like dealing with two sicknesses

For insulin I use insulin pens (Apidra and Lantus) and I have a Freestyle Libre 3 for a CGM. My nurse/doctor been pushing for me to start using an insulin pump but I haven’t felt ready for that. What about yourself?
