    That's a wack starting point for the Kinks :jay:

    I had a teacher that put me on White Stripes when they had just come out and that was like my Pandora's box for getting into music history cause they have so many great covers. Just dabbled in Sabbath, Metallica and like ELO before that.

    i think he knew i already listened to their best stuff (kinks to muswell hillbillies)

    he just gave me a compilation of their later stuff as a gift
