I said earlier ITT that it's hard for me to pick but rn I been loving Diamond Dogs and Scary Monsters, been listening to Lodger a bit
I haven't made it past the 80s very much though, I still got a good chunk of like 1984-2013 that I have to get into
StS is great though
TMWSTW, Hunky Dory, Ziggy & Spiders from mars, all wonderful albums to me as well
Diamond Dogs is my second Bowie favorite album
ziggy stardust is overrated af and not even a top 5 bowie album IMHO
I agree
A couple gems there tho
s***, i forgot all about this @Jerry_Seinfeld

Debated putting it or Overkill on mine actually!

there's 10 bowie albums I'd reach for before ziggy stardust

it's a win/win, but overkill does have metropolis
tbh though it's definitely an introductory album to what he's about, I do end up going to other albums more than that one more often cause they have other things to offer, but it's still very special, albeit seems tailored exactly to fit the glam rock era
How you listen to everything he did in the ‘70s and still be indifferent?
Honestly, just think theres more interesting stuff from this decade than what bowie was doing. I prefer my music to be loud, aggressive, and rather out of control (think Fun House by the Stooges). Bowie doesn't really get into that lane

Is Lets Dance better than Ziggy Stardust for you?

his 90s stuff is aggressive because his connection with Industrial Rock and Nine Inch Nails

Ik what u goin for with the stooges but bowie does have some moments on 70s albums where s*** gets out of control, he just wasn't doing as much fast-paced rock n roll s*** I think that you're looking for
