She wouldn’t be as big without the Annie hair but that’s not a knock on her. Hair (or the ability to rock a lack of hair) is an important quality of being attractive irl and an important quality of having a striking look as an artist. See: The Beatles, Justin Bieber, MJ, Elvis, Pac, Wayne etc

Hair isn’t the end all be all to her star quality either tho. Like I said itt, she has quotables, an instantly recognizable voice and flow, and reoccurring signatures in her songs ie “…like 🙄”

Nah, she came out of NY drill when some of the biggest guys got locked up (Sheff) or killed (Pop) or fell off (22) and majors just kind plugged in guys (Bizzy).
Her flow and delivery were way different. Huge contrast to the aggression. More of a counterpoint. Dudes were trying to sound like they eat menthol cigarettes. Now you can hear someone like RealYungPhil rapping like Spice over Gud production. Bbtrickz clearly tryna be the Spanish version.
So yeah, she's just the zoomer torch bearer for female rappers in NY with pop crossover. Very easy to see the appeal unless you're an loser or Drake

Her voice is too monotone that it sounds like she just woke up.
Her lyrics are typical p**** rap.
And she doesn’t even have the charisma to make up for it in her interviews.
The red wig is the only thing that makes her stand out but other than that she’s just ass (no pun intended).

She pays a lot of homage to her parents, team, fans and peers. People like her as a person and her music is catchy and she’s fun to watch. She gives her fans what they want

Not trying to say shes just all meme or anything i guess you could rephrase it as expert marketing if you want. And she took advantage of a lack of other big new rappers rising up too
