I wonder how much they really care about the issue at hand rather than their public perception. It seems really fake.

Like George Floyd wasn’t the first black man to die at the hands of the police, so why is it that now you decide to take notice? Is it because people around you are too? I go on insta and see people from my HS that I’ve argued with as they tried to justify the murders of Philando, Mike Brown, Alton, Tamir, or Sandra (and more) posting all types of BLM content on their stories now, but where was that energy then? It comes across as very disingenuous to me and I hate it
