A while back when I was f***ing up he gave me a little talk about how being black in our specific job field means everyone looks at you as lesser pretty much, so you can’t take it for granted and slack off.

I spoke with my brother who did his 6 years and got out. When I told him what field I’m in he basically said the same thing. So if more than one person is telling me this it must have truth to it.
