That year was a movie for me.
2019 I moved in with my then gf pretty quickly. By the end of the year we were separate but still living together. I was working as an electrician at a bullshit construction job almost died a couple times.
2019 my ex called me one night when I was sleeping next to my then gf. I didn’t answer. The next day I called her and asked her what happened. She was drunk and needed help getting home. Sometimes I wonder where we’d be if I went to go see her. I told her I was with someone. After that she ended up finding someone and getting married.

I have to drive 20 minutes to go to the only mall in my area that's still popping. The one near my house is dead as hell and waiting to get put out its misery, unfortunately. It really depends on the management, I guess.

No matter what, it’s a great day to be alive. A great day to be outside even if the humidity wants to suffocate me. I love seeing all the bugs, rodents and critters, fish along the sea wall, birds flying high, seeing all the different genres of flowers in peoples yards. It’s nice.
I love that I can just truck along with my work as I wear my headphones and listen to music. It definitely elevates the experience.
Sometimes I get a natural high off this s***.
