    ive done internships in academia, never in industry tho.

    that is pretty crazy lol, i kinda have a similar story for my first internship, i was like idk how to code but i make fire beats somehow that worked lmao

    my current job i got because i put down my web dev skills and the position wasn't even for coding or web dev. the boss saw my resume and brought me in

    been here for like 3 years, always get a raise too. pretty comfy i dont do that much unless i have a project to do.

    Maybe im looking in the wrong places. My last interview they started asking me to write whole ass calculus formulas off memory on a white board i jus need a chill job

    i think it's all luck and i don't aim high.

    my internship was with a small non profit company
    my current job is with a small family run company. ofc these businesses still have millions comin thru but i don't feel that replaceable. the job security is nice.

    and bruh i be bullshitting my way thru this. somehow i'm a software developer, app dev, and web dev despite never going to school or learning the first two i went to school for IT + web dev
    i wear a lot of hats cause it's a small team.
