Should certain states secede? I feel like it’s the inevitable conclusion. If California can theoretically hold its own, it has one of the largest economies in the world. Think I saw a map that showed there’s more states that as a collective also have some of the worlds largest economies. I’m wondering what the drawback would be to seceding other than people that would need to move…..which is a big one I suppose….

Couldn’t see it becoming a war. I feel like we’d have to come to a mutual understanding that together we can never agree, our politics have become too divisive and the world of misinformation has damaged things permanently. There would prob have to be tons of government involvement to get people to where they need to be, which is never going to happen. The biggest hurdle to get over for this to work would be relocating everyone to their closest state that they politically align with.

Maybe the U.S.A. would just dissolve at that point and the states would become their own things, like “Cascadia” is a classic example.
