Up at this time of night bored and hungry so I figured why not heat up my Orange Chicken?

Kinda excited for my new work schedule
Started getting a few more pools which made my days longer so had to move things around and add a work day.

Now I work

Monday: 4 pools, extra time for repairs and errands. Needed a weekday with some off time in case I need to do something that can only be done on a weekday like a doctor appt

Tues: 15 pools, only took one pool off this route. It’s not a very hard day anyways.

Wed: 11 pools, was originally 14 but the drive time between pools made it that I was out working like all day, usually can do like 17-18 pools in a day sometimes 20….also condensed the route so less drive time

Thurs: 14 pools, almost got it to 10 but some customers didn’t want me working on Saturday. This is one of the days that was getting out of hand. I was getting up to 19 pools on this day.

Fri: 16 pools, this one didn’t change at all. Friday is like the most desired day but wish I could put some of these onto Wed since they’re the same area

Sat: 9 pools. This is my new workday. Pretty light. It’s on the beach so in the summer traffic could be hectic but again, 9 pools ain’t really s*** for me I could have that done by lunch maybe.

Sunday: off

I’ve been there so many times. Feel like you’re trapped

I was a firefighter and didn’t like it, tending to people who are dying was too much for me, I mean that wasn’t alll the time sometimes it was just old lady fell, cars slightly hitting each other, but I did some fires, watched people OD and die with kids in the house
I did electrical/new construction and hated that, had a racist pos boss who made me do crazy s*** and I almost died once
Worked a handful of restaurant jobs and hated rude customers, friction with other employees, there’s no future in those jobs
I tried to solely rely on doing UberEats one year and just ended up f***ing myself with taxes
I worked at Publix, did all the departments except deli, even did janitor work, but that’s just another corporate suck up job, and I walked into my old Publix recently and saw the same store manager stocking shelves from a decade ago….hasnt moved

Yeah but the craziest moment in my life was watching my dad die. He worked at the same fire dept I ended up working at after he passed (nepotism) and died from cancer within like 5 months of the diagnosis. One morning my mom woke me up and he was in the bathroom pale as a ghost on the ground. We called 911 and some guys from his same department showed up and had to perform CPR. Then they took him away in the ambulance. I had to get dressed and go to the hospital to find out he was gone. When I got back home I let out the most animalistic noise I ever heard and had to get ready to go to a funeral home.
