Seen a post on Reddit about a guy buying a 1 bed room coop for nearly $800k in NY. I bought a 1 bed room coop myself in Chicago a few years ago, for not even 1/10th that price. And it’s in a very good part of the city with a view of the lake. Not trying to geek my s*** up, but just off principle I can’t imagine paying that much for my crib. The market value of my crib has doubled already but still.

I see studios n 1 bedroom apartments listed for $1500+ regularly nowadays. The pacification of American society to accept this unsustainable cost of living is amazing.
