I know a large portion of American communities may not have a lot of indians in their neighbourhood and may only possess knowledge of indian sterotypes like their dirty or smelly or they like curry even though an artist is born in north america.

Yes, It worked for nav to some extent but he still faces/faced racial prejudice. However, Nav is not necessarily a typical indian name.

My main question comes down to lets say an artist has that very clear indian name.. will something like that really prevent an artist to further their career, make people take them serious, have a marketable name/face?
