Yea I just focus on making the s*** I like, used to go for placements or post YouTube beats but imo it's not worth the effort, so I'm just getting better at writing recording and rapping/singing along with producing

placements are fire! nah. you can kick back if you got all the necessary paperwork out the way imo. I've heard that those are hard if you aren't close to the record though. especially when you're dealing with a major label...

I assume this in response to me, but yea I've been producing for years know music theory sound design engineering etc. I b engineering for one artist in particular who is fire as f***. Most my placements aint rly major label artists but they still hard imo

yea, just having conversation. everyone is coming from a different place. creativity is kinda emotionally draining. financially too but mostly emotional imo.

i used my hyperfixation powers to finish my album so that i can play final fantasy this week

yea i mean we all do this for slightly different reasons and none is better than the other, i personally never rly get tired of the creative aspect as much as i get worn out by the networking and branding etc., if i could just make music and not worry about anything else thatd be perfect for me

Damn near modern everything is dog s*** for the most part.

People back in those decades lived full lives and 100% in the moment. Which imo helped them make amazing work in all forms of art.

Also people back then were just smarter with higher standards and endurance/grit to make s*** happen.
