Early YouTube was just like TikTok now. Most people uploaded short funny videos and you could reply to other people with videos, add friends, DM, chat in forums and collab on playlists. YouTube removed so many features and now it feels lonely but that's not how it started. It was a real social media site but Google ruined it all for profit.
