its crazy to think that out of the quadrillion planets in the universe we might be the only one that matters

it dont rly make sense to me. consciousness is obviously a real thing, but the universe is almost entirely devoid of anything that is obviously conscious. it almost feels like we are the first life forms with the potential to actually make life spread thru the universe
