It’s -50 in edmonton today and it’s been -40 all week, cabin fever is kicking in.

I’ve literally noticed I can say nothing For a good amount of time and he just keeps going it’s baffling

At work there’s another teacher that’s like a few years older than me and she’s so adorable but I literally tense up like I’m 16 again talking to a crush it’s so embarrassing

It’s like I can tell she wants to small talk or laugh about something and I just shy away.

Idk if it’s cause my self esteem been in a rut or what

Damn I was In a similar situation last semester. Would talk to this professor after her class, once a week (work related on my end).

Long story short it went for basically the entire semester, she revealed some personal s*** she was going through and she even said talking to me was the best part of her day.

Had absolutely no idea how to handle this situation, as far as if I should've reached out to keep in contact or something. I'm married, I'm clocked in @ work when we talk. Idk if she was feeling me on the low or something. Just alot to take in.

Ultimately kept it strictly work and the semester ended

I have 0 info about her life but I think she has a bf based on her Facebook and yeah man I just wanna be chill when talking to her and not overthink . But it’s not her but this new job in general i feel like I suck and can’t be myself 100% and it’s hindering my interactions with everyone
