over this last year, even the last 6 months especially, it feels like we're truly dipping our toes into ai for the first time and i just don't see us coping to it well

precisely. it aint that bad lol but its not good or as good as what it is trying to imitate, and for that reason it aint for me at the moment.

it always seemed like ai was going to effect the workplace by replacing manual labor jobs like factory and farm work, but clearly the biggest advancements we are seeing right now are in fields like coding and even art "creation"

and of course the misinformation worries about deepfakes and the voice ai stuff i think is a little blown of proportion but a very genuine thing to worry about
