museums/ showcases create an environment where anyone who visits enter a perspective of artist interpretation

whereas the entertainment business got everyone and their mom believing "the customer is always right" throwing interpretation out the window in favor of audience satisfaction

imagine rotten tomatoes, pitchfork, and twitter users going "Monet is mid af 6/10" "Picasso dropped a new style, new work don't hit the same bro peaked after cubism"

subjectiveness out of control ever since we started tracking KPI's as the measure of what is "good." Now a days you find what you can franchise and max tf out of it because you found a creative IP that has a proven record to make money.

S*** even art seller curation was subjective AF (money laundering aside), it was up to gatekeepers to say what's good. When's the last time a critic was walking the walk?? What's more goofy are impressionable ahh people looking for someone to tell them what to like.

the art having to convince anyone to cosign your s*** as good especially for money gmfu.

all you gotta do is provoke a universal emotion or get people thinking and s*** gets minimized/boxed in by a few people. ah welp. what would be the culture shift for this if there was one. idk.

Why everybody mad at Carlos Sainz for taking his first win like he was supposed to

He rightfully got pole position and stayed ahead majority of the race

I fw Charles Leclerc too but why tf would he have priority to win when

    1. He wasnt in the lead at the time
    2. Carlos was already in position to win
    3. He not that much better than Carlos all he good at is qualifications and he finished 7th in 2021 championship when Carlos finished 5th bro consistent with the podiums

Stop blaming Carlos win only person you can blame this on is Ferrari themselves for not pitting Charles when they had the chance

Thinking of how Imma be able to retire my parents in the next 5 years. They getting too old to be working. Don’t want them to start approaching 65+ and still having to work extremely hard just to make ends meet.

There is art that requires the observer to let go of their ego, and there is art that fuels the observers ego.

Hmm so if the purpose of art is to challenge a level of psychology and emotional resonance, then reception is always going to be limited by each person.

You think fans of the art style that fuels ego have enough self awareness to remove their need for competitive evaluation and comparison though

Imagine it's folks that aren't even your target audience being the loudest in the room

What’s up dawg. I took a vacation from online forums the past month and a pent the new found time working on my art and other personal projects. Some people can manage this stuff well but in all honesty I take the internet too seriously, you know? It gets to my head too easily so I’ve started distancing myself from it.

Oh and I got a car 😄 and still got a little money in my pocket so things are going very smooth for me. Thanks for asking yo. And yourself?

    Twitter is GatlaShine
Instagram and YT are just GATLA
I need to get more active on socials tbh that’s the only way I can broadcast my art
