Am I wrong for taking note of the people that claim to love me but didn’t take the time to wish me happy birthday i feel like I always show love on birthdays and not to count favors or anything but damn a nigga can’t get any acknowledgment ain’t no excuse, I been responding to people saying happy birthday on social media all day, so mfs we’re aware maybe I gotta tone down on showing out for people. Honestly man sometimes it works out that way by complete accident, one of my closest friends in the world had his birthday the other day and I didn't find out until it said 'His birthday was yesterday' on FB, everyone I know who knew him had no idea either and pretty much went through the same situation

It may just be that folks legit aren't on social media at that moment, I feel so bad for not wishing him Happy Birthday on the day but I legit had no idea, getting him a gift for the next time I see him 100% tho, there are plenty of reasons why people who legit care about you might straight-up miss your B-day, I'm sure if you dropped it in conversation that it was recently they'd be like 'Really?! Man I had no idea'
